- (Research): Obituary, Kitchener-Waterloo Record SNYDER, Mrs. Rachel Ann --Of 18 Queen St., Baden, died after a lengthy illness, on Monday, July 2, 1984, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. She was born 86 years ago. daughter of the late William Rudy and Rachel Reist.She was a member of the WMSC and was also a member of the Baden Senior Citizen's.Beloved wife of Percy Snyder, whom she married June 4, 1919; lovingly remembered by her sons, Melvin and his wife Annabelle of Erbsville. Lincoln and his wife Ann of Hawkesville, Stanley and his wife Jacqueline of Baden, Ralph and his wife Ruth of Burbank, Calif., Lorne and his wife Doris of Calgary, Alta., Kenneth of Vancouver B.C.; her daughters, Helen (Mrs. Carl Grenzebach) of Kitchener, Jeanne (Mrs. Lorne Lichty) of Mercersburg, PA.; dear sister of Jacob of Cambridge and Abner of Waterloo.Predeceased by one brother, Omar; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bechtel, Mrs. Martha Thaler, and Sarah Schiedel
Sadly missed by 29 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg Chapel, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg after 7 p.m. this evening and until Thursday, July 5 at noon. when transfer will be made to Mannheim Mennonite Church for the service at 3 p.m. Rev. James Reusser and Rev. Lorne Lichty officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
