PRESTON - Lilacs, ferns and
candelabra formed the setting
last evening for the wedding
of Eleanor Hunsperger, RR 1,
Preston, and Blake Moyer, RR
1, Blair, at Wanner Mennonite
Church, Hespeler.
The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Hunsperger,
RR 1, Preston. Mr. and Mrs. M.
C. Moyer, RR 2, Blair, are the
bridegroom's parents.
WEARS SILK
Rev. Lester Bauman officiat-
ed, assisted by Rev. Howard
Schmitt.
A gown of white silk brocade
with scalloped neckline, lily-
point sleeves and bouffant skirt
was the bride's choice. Her
pearl crown held a short illusion
veil and she carried roses and
lily-of-the-valley.
Maid of honor was Marlene
cake of Galt who wore a bouf-
fant street length dress of pas-
tel green peau de soie, with
bracelet sleeves. Her flowers
were roses and violets.
Similar ensembles were worn
by bridesmaids Mrs. James
Snider of London, Ont., and
Carol Hunsperger, a sister of the
bride
BROTHERS ASSIST
Best man was James Moyer
of Blair, a brother of the bride-
groom. Ushers were David
Moyer of Burlington, a brother
of the bridegroom, and Ralph
Hunsperger of Listowel, a
brother of the bride.
A reception followed in the
church basement.
Mr. and Mrs. Moyer will
spend their honeymoon in Wash-
ington. They will live at 104
Carwood Ave., Kitchener.
