- (Research): ENOS DETTWILER
A Memorial service for Enos
Dettwiler, 58, RR 1, West Mon-
trose, who died last Tuesday,
was conducted at Elmira, Men-
nonite Church at 2.30 p.m.
Thursdaay, Jan. 31.
Rev. Howard Bauman offic-
iated. The body rested at the
Dreisinger Funeral Parlor un-
til 1 p.m. Thursday, Burial was
in the cemetery adjoining the
church.
Mr. Dettwiler was born in
Michigan, a son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Abraham Dettwiler.
He came to farm in West Mon-
trose in 1912. He was a memb-
er of Elmira Mennonite
Church.
Surviving are his wife, the
former Lucinda Bowman: two
sons, Mahlon and Carl, both of
West Montrose; one daughter
Patricia or (sic) Toronto; and three
sisters, Mrs. Annie Remer (sic) of
Markham, Mrs. Eden Cress-
man of St. Jacobs and Miss
Sevilla Dettwiler of Zurich.
One brother Reuben prede-
ceased him in 1951 and three
brothers predeceased him in
infancy.
